Research Interests

  • mRNA Detection

    * messenger RNA (mRNA), molecule in cells that carries codes from the DNA in the nucleus to the sites of protein synthesis in the cytoplasm (the ribosomes). our goal is to detect various mRNAs present in each cell, and to obtain biologically necessary information by identifying the number and shape of mRNA present in each cell based on this.

  • Self-Supervised Learning

    * Deep learning has had great success in various fields, but there is a problem that a large amount of ground truth data is required to produce good performance. Especially in the medical field, this problem becomes more serious. This is because the cost involved in generating the ground truth data is large. self-supervised learning used as one of the methods to solve this problem is a learning method that learn representations that can be well transposed to a downstream task from a large amount of unlabeled data. Our goal is to solve the data shortage problem by developing a self-supervised method.
